Innovation in Ibiza, Spain, where Citelum Iberica installed 67 solar lamps on Talamanca and d’en Bossa beaches.
Beyond substantial energy savings, this equipment will also enable the Spanish city to reduce its CO2 emissions since the devices are totally self-sufficient in energy.
How does it work? All along the day, the photovoltaic panels implemented in the lamps capture the solar energy and keep it in a battery. When night falls, the energy is redistributed to the lamps.
Various intensity levels can also be programmed, offering the city and its citizens an optimal use of its street lighting.
