As part of Citelum’s mobility offer, the access control bollard service enables cities and companies to protect restricted areas.
In Sète, Citelum has renovated the former system to limit traffic on a shopping street:
At the entrance of Gambetta Street, a bollard, a kiosk and a camera that reads registration plates monitor vehicles’ accesses.
If the plate is recognized, the retractable bollard goes down automatically and the vehicle can drive through.
If the plate is not registered, the driver can contact the Urban Monitoring Center (UMC), which manages the bollard remotely, through the kiosk,
In Nice, Citelum’s teams have installed 90cm high retractable bollards on the “Promenade des Anglais”.
The bollards are connected to an automatic trigger warning system which informs the UMC in the event of unplanned occurrences.
