In the Occitanie region in France, Citelum strengthens its positions in the public lighting and connected urban services fields.
The SYDEEL 66 (an Energetic and Electricity Departmental Union of the South West of France) assigned 2 markets to Citelum.
Our teams will not only be in charge of the street lighting management of 69 cities members of the union, for 4 years (that is 12,000 lighting points spread across the department), but also of the lighting networks renovation for 1 year that will mainly consist of the energy consuming lighting equipment’s renewal.
The Herault Energies (another Energetic union) also chose Citelum for the street lighting modernization works of the member municipalities, located around the city of Béziers, for an initial period of 1 year.
The same market has been won by Citelum, in grouping with Seep, around Sète. This project that concerns 10 of the 14 municipalities of the Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée, is aimed to modernize the street lighting and the traffic light system, which represent 14,500 lighting points (all registered on Citégestion’s MUSE® platform ).
Still in Sète, on docks partially reserved to pedestrians, Citelum is improving the bystanders’ safety by installing retractable bollards and license plate reading cameras.
Citelum is also optimizing parking thanks to the setup of sensors on short-stop parking spots for a more efficient vehicles’ turnover.
